Patrol vessel & fast attack craft

Sea

Smaller ships and boats that guard a country's coast and its exclusive economic zone (EEZ): they stop smuggling and illegal fishing, rescue people at sea and protect ports. Fast attack craft add speed and guns or missiles for coastal combat.
For island nations such as Sri Lanka, patrol vessels and fast attack craft make up most of the fleet.
