TY-90 (Chinese: 天燕-90; pinyin: Tiān Yàn-90; lit. 'Sky Swallow-90'; NATO reporting name: CH-SA-13) is a Chinese air-to-air missile specifically developed for attack helicopter dogfights in the late 1990s. Contrary to erroneous claims, the missile is not developed from MANPADS missiles, but instead, it is specifically designed as an air-to-air missile to engage in helicopter combat.
